These directions will only work with Eudora in Paid (Pro) or Sponsored mode. Eudora cannot handle multiple personalities in Light mode. If you are using Eudora in Light mode, we suggest switching to Sponsored or Paid mode, or using a different email client.
Click on the Personalities tab (the tab with two faces on it).
Right-click in the box above the tabs and select "New..."
Click "Skip directly to advanced account setup", then click "Finish".
On the "Generic Properties" tab, enter a name for this account in the
"Personality Name:" box. Enter the name you want displayed when you send
email in the "Real Name:" box. Enter the POP email address "Return Address:" box. Enter the
POP email address in the "Login Name:" box. Enter mail.first-web.net in
the "SMTP Server:" box. Check the "Authentication allowed"
checkbox if it is not already checked. Click the drop-down menu under "Secure
Sockets when Sending" and select "Never" from the menu. Click the "Incoming
Mail" tab.
Enter mail.first-web.net in the "Server:" box. Click the radio button
next to "POP" if it is not already selected. If you are planning on
accessing your email from more than one computer or through First-WebMail, check the
"Leave mail on server" checkbox; otherwise, leave it unchecked. Click the
radio button next to "Passwords" if it is not already selected. Click the
drop-down menu under "Secure Sockets when Receiving" and select "Never" from the
menu. Click "OK" and you're done! You can now send and receive email using your
new POP email account.
